It's based on the number of followers your Twitter account has * a multiplier that's related to your account type. For 'Free' users the multiplier is 0.1 (this is the same as when you share bookmarks).

((ln(followers+50)^2)/3)-4

Example: A 'Free' user has 2037 Twitter followers and sends a tweet. He will earn 15.5 * 0.1 = 1.6 credits.

It's based on the number of followers your Twitter account has.
